2009 Monthly Briefings

In 2009, BASICS will culminate the implementation of a 15-year focused investment by USAID in accelerating child survival. The project has played a key role in promoting technical interventions globally as well as providing technical assistance for implementation of key child health interventions at the country level. In its current 5-year project cycle alone, BASICS has worked in more than 25 countries to promote improved child health.

BASICS is holding a series of monthly briefings in 2009, usually planned for the second Wednesday of each month, to highlight gains achieved in the project’s technical focus areas and to share lessons learned across countries. The venue will rotate amongst the offices of BASICS’ partners. All are welcome to attend without confirming their participation beforehand.
