Senegal
For more than 12 years, BASICS has helped Senegal's Ministry of Health and participating local government units improve and expand newborn, child and maternal health activities; especially in targeted health districts where USAID is most active. Primarily through in-country experts, BASICS has provided technical assistance in nutrition, newborn health, integrated management of childhood illnesses, and vaccination, IEC/BCC, advocacy, and social mobilization.
