CONTRACT STRUCTURE
BASICS is a five-year, single award Indefinite Quantity Contract (contract no. GHA-I-00-04-00002-00) with a $500 million ceiling. Through the contract, USAID issues Task Orders that are either Cost Plus Fixed Fee or Firm Fixed Priced, and are funded according to the work that is required.
OBTAINING BASICS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
BASICS provides a wide range of technical assistance to advance the scale-up of evidence-based interventions for newborns and children.
USAID Missions and regional bureaus can use a Task Order to immediately mobilize BASICS and tap the expertise of the project's six implementing partners, or they can access BASICS through its existing Task Order, Task Order 1.
